House Agriculture Committee Chairman Frank Lucas, R-Okla., today announced two hearings at the subcommittee level in Washington later this month:

• March 21 — House Agriculture Rural Development, Research, Biotechnology, and Foreign Agriculture Subcommittee “to identify duplicative federal rural development programs.”
• March 27 — House Agriculture Conservation, Energy, and Forestry Subcommittee on “U.S. Forest Service Land Management: Challenges and Opportunities for Achieving Healthier National Forests.”
