Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack snapped a photo of his healthy lunch today and sent it out on Twitter in recognition of the USDA’s “What’s On My Plate Day,” designed to encourage the use of the MyPlate icon to design meals built around the 2010 Dietary Guidelines for Americans. USDA asked citizens to post photos of their “My Plate” meals to Twitter all day, using the hashtag #MyPlate. Vilsack lunched on chicken, vegetables, whole grains and milk. (SOURCE: USDA)
