Bill Gates, the founder of Microsoft and co-chair of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, urged global leaders to spend more money on agriculture, particularly agricultural research that would help developing countries in his annual letter.

It was released on the eve of the World Economic Forum meeting in Davos, Switzerland.
