Ag groups urge committee leaders to write farm bill in 2012

A long list of farm, conservation, anti-hunger and rural development groups sent congressional leaders a letter today urging them to write the farm bill in 2012.
"We the undersigned have heard calls for an extension of current law.," the groups wrote. "We ask you to reject these calls for delay and aggressively act to ensure that a new, comprehensive farm bill is passed this year."
