House Agriculture Committee Chairman Frank Lucas, R-Okla., announced today that Agriculture subcommittees will hold two audit hearings on Agriculture Department programs next week.

The House agriculture General Farm Commodities and Risk Management Subcommittee will hold a hearing Wednesday on Title I of the farm bill and the permanent disaster program known as SURE.

The House Agriculture Rural Development, Research, Biotechnology and Foreign Agriculture Subcommittee will hold a hearing on USDA research programs next Thursday.
