U.S. Wheat announces personnel changes

U.S. Wheat Associates has hired Casey Chumrau as a market analyst on global wheat market trends and activity, produce weekly price reports and provide contract, quality specification and price assistance to U.S. wheat exporters and importers.

Chumrau has worked for the U.S. Senate Committee on Finance as an international trade associate, providing research, writing and analytical support, including for hearings on the Panama and Korea free trade agreements. She previously worked in her home state as a market research assistant at the Montana World Trade Center.

U.S. Wheat Associates, which promotes U.S. wheat exports, also announced that Chad Weigand, the current market analyst, will become assistant regional director for Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean, a position held by Joe Sowers, who has been named assistant regional director for South Asia in Manila, Philippines.
