National Grain hires ex-Congressional staffer

The National Grain and Feed Association has announced that it has hired Elizabeth (Beth) Elliott as director of legislative affairs.
Elliott worked most recently for former Rep. Tom Perriello, D-Va., providing staff support for his duties as a member of the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee as well as handling appropriations, energy, water and dairy policy issues for Perriello.
She also worked as a legislative assistant for Rep. John Salazar, D-Colo., and Rep. Dennis Cardoza, D-Calif., She began her work on Capitol Hill in 2003 as an intern for then-Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, D-N.Y.
