House Agriculture Committee schedules hearings

House Agriculture Committee Chairman Frank Lucas, R-Okla., announced today that the committee will hold a business meeting next Thursday to consider his plan for overseeing the executive branch during this Congress. It will be followed by a hearing to review implementation of part of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act.

On Feb. 17, the committee will hold a hearing on the state of the farm economy.
