World Food Program USA adds staff

World Food Program USA, a nonprofit organization that seeks to shape U.S. anti-hunger policy and encourages donations to the U.N. World Food Program, announced several new hires this week.

Heather Hanson has joined WFP USA as the organization’s vice president for public policy. Hanson most recently worked as the director of policy and advocacy for Mercy Corps, an international organization with humanitarian and development field operations in 40 countries.

Ann Andrews Morris is WFP USA’s vice president for communications and outreach. Morris worked previously United Way of America, The American Red Cross, ABC News, U.S. News & World Report, and Ogilvy PR.

Alma Jane Shepard has joined the organization as vice president for development.

Shannon Hiskey has joined World Food Program USA as special assistant to WFP USA President and CEO Rick Leach. Before WFP USA, she worked at Keel Point Advisors, a wealth management and advisory firm.
