The House Agriculture Committee will hold a hearing Wednesday to review legislative proposals amending Title VII of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act.
House Agriculture Committee Chairman Frank Lucas, R-Okla., has said he is concerned that the Commodity Futures Trading Commission is implementing the Dodd-Frank law too quickly and in a way that would make it hard for end users of futures and derivatives to use them for risk management purposes.
