NSAC sends proposal to avoid conservation cuts
The National Sustainable Agriculture Coalition today sent members of the congressional super committee in charge of deficit reduction a letter and proposal urging them to resist cuts in conservation programs, and also to put more money into programs for beginning farmers, rural development, conservation, renewable energy, agricultural research, and new market development.
