USDA report: Farm subsidy measuring systems differ
The USDA Economics Research Service has released a report on the differences between the systems to measure farm subsidies used by the World Trade Organization and the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development.
ERS notes that the results “can be surprisingly and fundamentally different, rendering comparisons inappropriate, meaningless, or even wrong.”
