Sweetener Users study criticizes sugar program

Reps. Joe Pitts, R-Pa., and Danny Davis, D-Ill., have released a study critical of the U.S. sugar program.
The Sweetener Users Association paid for the study, which was conducted by Promar International and contends that the U.S. sugar programs adds $4 billion per year to the cost of sugar for consumers and industrial users.
