Anti-GMO alfalfa campaign launched

Food & Water Watch today launched a campaign to oppose USDA’s decision to approve genetically modified alfalfa for widespread planting. At the press conference of Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack and Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius to announce the dietary guidelines, a Food & Water Watch representative urged attendees to call the White House to protest USDA’s decision and urge President Obama to reverse it.
