House Ag schedules three hearings this week

The House Agriculture Committee has scheduled two subcommittee and one full committee hearing this week.
All the hearings will be held in Room 1300 of the Longworth House Office Building.
The House Agriculture Committee Commodity Exchanges, Energy and Credit Subcommittee will hold a hearing Tuesday at 10 a.m. on reauthorization of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission. The formal title is “Reauthorizing the CFTC: Commissioners’ Perspectives.”
The House Agriculture Biotechnology, Horticulture and Research Subcommittee will hold a hearing on Tuesday at 1 p.m. to hear a presentation by National 4-H participants concerning the future of agriculture in the United States.
The House Agriculture Committee will hold a hearing Wednesday at 10 a.m. entitled “The Past, Present, and Future of SNAP: The World of Nutrition and the Role of the Charitable Sector.”
