World Food Prize goes to Rajaram

The World Food Prize Foundation has awarded the prize this year to Sanjaya Rajaram, a colleague of Norman Borlaug, the “Green Revolution” scientist who started the prize.
The announcement was made today at the State Department and the prize will be awarded in Des Moines in a ceremony on October 16.
