Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack confirmed today that producers will be able to apply for disaster relief at Farm Service Agency county offices on April 15, as has been the Obama administration’s goal.

The program is particularly important to livestock producers who suffered losses after the programs in the last farm bill expired and before the new farm bill passed.
