Two named to Inter-American Tropical Tuna Commission

President Barack Obama has announced two appointments to the Inter-American Tropical Tuna Commission, which is responsible for the conservation and management of tuna and other marine resources in the eastern Pacific Ocean and for the implementation of the International Dolphin Conservation Program.

Obama has appointed William Fox, Jr., a vice president of fisheries at the World Wildlife Fund, and Donald Hansen, a special assistant to the director of the Pacific Fisheries Management Council and former chairman of that council.
