Scott Faber, a lobbyist for the Grocery Manufacturers Association, has joined the Environmental Working Group as vice president for government affairs.
Faber will head an EWG team working on food and farm legislation, chemicals policy and other issues important to EWG and its supporters, EWG President Ken Cook said in a news release.
From 2000 to 2007, Faber was a food-and-farm policy campaign manager for the Environmental Defense Fund. From 1993 to 2000, he was a senior director for public policy for American Rivers.
